A must to visit is Ibiza's Towns and Villages which are all very small and believe it or not only measure forty five kilometres in length and twenty five kilometres in width and one can explore the entire Island during your holiday discovering why the Island is so popular and deserving of its international reputation.
Ibiza which is the capital of the Island is a really fascinating part of the Island and extremely vibrant throughout the day and throughout the night. There are no immediate beaches alongside the town but only fifteen minutes walk away one will find a magnificent sandy beach at Talamanca as well as many hotels.
Well worth visiting on the Island are other quaint little towns and villages like he beautiful resort of Playa d'en Bossa which will keep you entertained with its many clubs and bars and Figueretas which is a small village has an amazing selection of restaurants with fine cuisine as well as bars and cafes.
The largest resort is Ibiza and the second largest is San Antonia and the third largest is Santa Eulalia. San Antonia has the most awesome bays and amazing sunsets along the Mediterranean coast. There are also many wonderful family orientated resorts to visit like Es Cana which is well known for the hippy market held on a daily basis and then there is Cala Llonga and Portinatx. The beaches are safe for children to swim in as the water is shallow.
Puerto de San Miguel, Cala Tarida, and Cala Vadella are also wonderful little villages and towns which offer the family various water sports. Surrounded by beautiful cliffs these beaches are fully protected at all times.
A drive will not take you longer than an hour to any of these breathtaking towns and villages and one should not miss a drive through rural Spain's countryside where one will also encounter the farmlands with their rows of lemon and orange trees as almond trees. Then a visit to San Jose is a must as this is a delightful little town situated on top of a hill. Once you have visited Ibiza's Towns and Villages you will return time and again.
