I must have the best summer weekend schedule of anyone I know. Well, except for my buddies who have pretty much the same weekend schedule that I do. I spend the entire week preparing for Friday evening, where I will pack up the truck, tighten down my seadoo cover, hitch up the seadoo trailer, and head out on my 2 hour drive up to the summer campsite destination. I have a small set of friends that share the same passion for seadoo riding and camping that I do, so every year I look forward to a summer of good times relaxation at the lake.

Yesterday as I surfed around for Seadoo pwc covers, I came across some history about Seadoos and personal watercraft in general. The story of how the modern Seadoo came to be was very interesting. I also came across some retro pictures that were pretty cool.

A Seadoo Cover beauty contest is the last thing I expected to see at a race. All of the racers, including myself are keen to get those covers off and get on to the water! However, a few months before the tournament I mentioned to the organizers that I had started a seadoo pwc cover blog and that seemed to pique their interest. The next thing I knew the organizers included an optional cover contest at dusk on Saturday evening.

Seadoo PWC covers are a funny topic amongst racers. Every racer I know wants a rad looking cover and goes to great lengths and expense to find these covers but very few will admit that it is a priority for them. When it comes to tournaments and races all of the competitors, including myself, are keen to get those covers off the machine and get the machine on to the water! A few months before the first race of the season, I mentioned to the race organizer that I was contributing to a seadoo pwc cover blog. Before long I got an email saying that an optional cover contest was to be held after the Saturday races and before the awards dinner.

I am a huge pwc enthusiast, so every chance I get I want to let other pwc owners know that if you are skimping on your choice of seadoo covers, then you are doing a dis-service to your pride and joy, and will inevitably shorten the the lifespan of your water craft in more ways than one. In addition to potential functional damage caused by exposure to the elements, you will also allow cosmetic damage to your pwc as well.

Whether it is almost time to put your pwc on a trailer and get it to the lake, or that time of year where you drain the oil and put it in the garage, you’re going to need a pwc cover to protect your favorite summer sporting toy. Finding a cover that fits your watercraft to a tee is one of the best investments you can make second to buying the thing in the first place. And the best thing is, it’s super easy to find pwc covers online these days, specifically designed to fit your make and year of pwc.
